eMed CELEBRATED “WORLD WATER DAY” WITH THE KIDS OF THE CITY SCHOOL, CHENAB CAMPUS, FAISALABAD.

“MARVELOUS PREPARATIONS & DISPLAY OF LEARNING BY CHILDREN OF ALL AGES” “You can survive without love, but not without water”. “It is a horrible statement I am delivering to my audience two children die every three minutes from water related diseases exactly the same time I have been granted to speech. A child''''s wellbeing is highly dependent on both the quality and availability of water. Dear audience I will provide you some non-exhaustive collection of facts and figures related to water that will immensely surprise you. 1) 85% of the world’s population lives in the driest half of the planet. 2) 783 million people do not have access to clean water. 3) Almost 2.5 billion people die annually from water related diseases. 4) 6 to 8 million people die annually from the consequences of water related diseases. 5) Furthermore! Women and children spend 125 million hours each day collecting water” (Horrible statistics given by The City School student in declamation contest) Various learning methodologies adopted for the students of The City School, Chenab Campus Faisalabad, today, when World Water Day was celebrated by eMed members, on 30.3.2016.
