IN CONTINUATION OF ICR PROJECT OF eMed, PROF HINA AYESHA ORGANIZED A "NEO-NATAL RESUSCITATION WORKSHOP FOR THE DOCTORS OF GYNECOLOGY DEPARTMENT, ALLIED HOSPITAL FAISALABAD.

"Principal Punjab Medical College, Prof Sardar Muhammad AL-Fareed Zafar, was the Chief Guest". "Prof Hina Ayesha & Assistant Professors Dr Sumaira & Dr Zahid were the Master Trainers" Global organization Environment & Health (eMed) & Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (APPNA) have devised & launched a training program on immediate cardiac response, for all walks of community. This program is for the “Medical care for victims of life threatening illnesses or injuries until they reach hospital”. This covers road traffic accidents, earthquake, bomb blasts & all sort of medical emergencies. This prestigious & useful program will reach: • Students • Undergraduate & post-graduate doctors • Nurses • Paramedics • Police • Traffic police • Rescue 1122 • Media men • Multinational companies • Business men • Teachers • Bankers • And all other walks of life. Prof Hina Ayesha regularly holds training workshops on Neo-natal resuscitation & on 16.3.2016, she organized NNR workshop in the Gynecology Ward of Allied Hospital for the Gyne doctors. She specially invited Principal Punjab Medical College on the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr Zahid & Dr Sumaira were the other Master Trainers with Prof Hina Ayesha. Participants were told about ‘Blocked airways’, ‘Chest compressions’ & other procedures needed to save life of a neonatal. The participants had the hand-on practice sessions & then appeared in a test before receiving the certificate. The Chief Guest witnessed the practice sessions & appreciated the skilled performance of the master trainers. He said that ICR project is definitely contributing towards the improvement in performance of the doctors & the staff members, especially in ICU department.
