International Training Course on “Environmental Toxicology”
In Bangkok, Thailand
(June 29th to July 19th 2007)
Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA) & Chulabhorn Research Institute (CRI) organized an international training course on “Environmental Toxicology” in which PhD students & professionals from Thailand along with participants from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Cambodia, Myanmar & Sri Lanka participated. The intensive training course provided best chance to the participants to understand the baseline studies in the field of environment & they got vital information on how to create awareness in public on toxic effects of the chemicals & how to estimate their levels in air, water & food chain. The teachers & trainers of the course were from the panel of World Health Organization (WHO) who provided the foundation to the students from their skills & experiences.TICA & CRI organized the course in an excellent manner & all the participants left for their respective countries hoping to dispense the benefits of the course to their country officials & people.
