PAKISTAN DEFENSE DAY CELEBRATED IN A TRUE PATRIOTIC SPIRIT.

e-SAVERS OF eMed IGNITED "SACRIFICE & SERVICE" IN THE SOULS OF TEACHERS & STUDENTS.

DR SULTAN ABDULLAH, DR KHURRAM RAJA & DR HUMAIRA ARSHAD AMONG 140, WHO REGISTERED & DONATED BLOOD FOR THE POOR.

On the occasion of “Pakistan Defense Day on September 6 2016”, eMed teachers & students donated blood for the needy & poor patients. This blood camp was organized by e-SAVERS (blood donation group of eMed) under the technical supervision of Dr Azra Siddique & her staff of the Allied & DHQ hospitals blood banks.

Talking on the occasion, President eMed & Head of Medicine Department, Allied hospital, Prof Ahmad Bilal declared this great act of humanity as a true service of the country. “Allied hospital emergency wards are the largest in Pakistan & there are dozens of patients in need of the blood. This donation will be for those patients & without any cost”.

Dr Azra Siddique told that 140 students were registered & without any doubt, the e-SAVERS organizers should be credited for this effort.

e-SAVERS coordinators, Arslan Zahid, Saad Naeem Chaudhry, Tawakul Gill, Saad Asim, Muhammad Junaid, Rao Samad, Ehtasham, Tooba, Abeer, Tayyaba Arshad, Ruqqaya Iftikhar & Ayesha Ilyas were happy on their success & specially when 72 years old Dr Sulatan Ahmad Abdullah & other teachers as Dr Khurram Raja & Dr Humaira Arshad donated their blood. Media, present on the occasion, had great appreciation for the teachers.

Two school students from Beacon house system of schools, Hina & Binish were also among the donors.
