DR KHURRAM SOHAIL RAJA. “WE ARE SINCERELY ADDRESSING THE HEALTH ISSUES OF THE TRAFFIC WARDENS” …. SP TRAFFIC, ARIF SHEBAZ KHAN WAZEER. Prof Ahmed Bilal, Dr Qaiser Hanif Sheikh & Dr Khurram Sohail Raja, together with their screening teams for blood pressure & vision, responded to the request of City Traffic Police when, eMed & Department of Ophthalmology, Allied Hospital Faisalabad organized a screening camp on Wednesday, 25.5.2016. City Traffic Warden & Personal Staff Officer (PSO) to the Chief Traffic Officer, Mohammad Ismail worked very hard in making the arrangements & coordinated well to make the camp a success. Camp continued from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM in the Traffic Office Civil Lines where large number of traffic wardens got themselves screened for vision & blood pressure. Results of the screening tests were quite alarming as 45% of the wardens are suffering from high blood pressure due to their duty hours & stress full work & 12% have eyes sight problems. Results are conveyed to the traffic department who has promised to address the issues. Prof Ahmed Bilal thanked SP Traffic, Arif Shebaz Khan Wazeer & Mohmmad Ismail on their concern on the health issues of the wardens.
