MOU signed by eMed & FAST National University of Computer Sciences.

Agreement reached on collaborative activities on health & environment education & building computer skills of the students.


It was opening a new chapter of training skills, health & environment awareness & a step towards medical research for medical & computer undergraduates, when on 31.8.2016, eMed & FAST University signed an agreement for joining activities in both institutes. A delegation of eMed members comprising General Secretary, Associate Professor, Dr. Khurram Sohail Raja, Executive member Mr. Waseem Siddique & a group of students from 1st year MBBS, PMC, visited Fast University Faisalabad chapter.


Director of Fast University Dr. Asif Gilani, together with his faculty members from Department of Management Sciences & members of their health society, ‘Silent Steps’ received the delegation.


The focal person for signing MOU, Assistant Professor of Management Sciences, Mr. Shehzad Ahmad signed MOU, with elated sprits & hopes, while Dr. Asif Gilani approved the document.


Talking on the occasion, Head of Department of Management Sciences, Dr. Rana Zahid was very positive on the efficacy of the collaborative activities between the organizations.


“Computer sciences should have some part of the of the medical curriculum because medical technology is growing fast & medical graduates & under graduates need enhanced computer skills to excel in medical research & future medical imagining techniques”.


Participants from both sides explained the areas of mutual interest for joined activities. They pointed out computer skills training workshops, healthy lifestyle, health hazards of modern technology, ICR workshops, free health camps, videos & skits competitions, fund raising drives & celebrating health & environment days.
